Key Requirements
You must be prepared with:
☑ Child's Australian Birth Certificate
☑ Parents' Original Birth Certificates (recently issued)
☑ Parents' Passports (bio-data pages)
☑ Parents' Marriage Certificate
Additional (if applicable):
☑ VEVO documents (recent – within 1 month)
☑ Dual Citizenship Certificates
☑ Citizenship application / statutory declaration
☑ Letter for late registration
Important Conditions
⚠ Older birth certificates (pre-2008) are not accepted
⚠ If required, new certificates must be obtained from Sri Lanka
⚠ Proof of visa/citizenship may be required in some cases
⚠ Bring all original documents + 1 set of photocopies
